Women in developing countries bear the biggest burden as climate change impacts the world. It is in the daily lives of these women that the battle to save the family, the planet, and the future is played out. These women and girls are forces of nature, and Ripple Effect Images is telling their stories. Vietnam,  photo by Annie Griffiths

Ripple Effect Images is a team of journalists dedicated to documenting the plight of women and girls around the world by highlighting the programs that are helping to empower them. Annie Griffiths is founder and Executive Director. The team donates their photographs, films and stories to the Ripple Effect Archive and make them available at no cost to partner aid organizations. Griffiths’ inspiring Ted Talk highlights her photography and her efforts to help empower women in developing countries.
