Negative Space Eileen will show us what to look for in creating Negative Space images. She will also cover Minimalism, which uses Negative Space to create those images. Both of these techniques bring your eye to the subject because of the lack of clutter in the images. They can also create looks such as moodiness and loneliness. | Feb 2026 | Wayne Fisher | Wayne Fisher, a professional photographer based in Thornhill, Ontario, possesses a unique and innovative approach to Architectural Photography.His work has garnered international recognition, being featured in prestigious publications such as Chizz Magazine, Collector Book/New perspectives by Contemporary Art Curator Magazine, and Flowers of Monet: 180th Anniversary of Claude Monet in 2021. Wayne has represented Canada at the World Photographic Cup 2020 in the commercial category. With a creative journey spanning over 40 years, Wayne has honed his craft particularly within the realm of architectural photography. During his presentations, Wayne shares the story of his personal odyssey, from his roots in South Africa to his eventual settlement in Canada, while also offering a glimpse into his artistic vision and post-processing techniques. Jamie Johnson is a serious amateur photographer from Ottawa Canada, shooting film and digital since the 80s. He spends most of his time with nature, sports, travel and aviation, however he also enjoys urban, portraits, music and food photography. He has been a member of the RA PhotoClub since 2004 as part of the feedback, nature and competitions groups. He has done more than 30 presentations to the Club on topics including Backup Strategies, Audio Visual Workflow, Iceland, Patagonia, Smart Phones and The Cloud for Photographers. Jamie also runs photo tours in Iceland (PortfoliosInAWeek.com). for experienced photographers who want to get to a lot of shooting locations, and have someone else look after the logistics. One of the unique factors with the tours is Jamie’s partner, Axel Oskarsson of iAmIceLand.com, who also happens to be the Cordon Bleu chef for the tour. In real life Jamie is an IT consultant and software developer, with one of his apps being Photo Walk Ideas (photoWalkIdeas.com).
