| Description | An image of an outdoor snow scene. While there can be other subjects in the image (people, animals, etc), the photo should be taken in a snowy environment. The photo should contain a significant amount of snow either on a surface or in the air. |
| Off Topic | An image that is focused on ice rather than snow. A winter photo of the Rideau Canal, even if there is snow on the banks, would be considered off topic. |
