Lighting tip to simulate the look of Large format camera portraits
For years, I have been following the Strobist, a lighting resource for photographers from beginner to advanced. This month’s blog post talks about the magic of medium format portraits. What I liked is that instead of discussing the format gear, process etc, he explains how to get better portrait results using the camera you already have simply by paying attention to the shadows in the scene. If you are interested in this type of photography I encourage you to take the free courses offered through the blog. Strovist 101,102, and 103. If you have questions I’m happy to help.
